We are Kevin and Gabriella and the founders of En Clave Music Store. We are London-born British-Latinos and our families came to the UK many years ago.
We feel deeply connected to our roots and both grew up learning about our culture, music, dance and language - forming integral parts of our British-Latino identity.
En Clave Music Store is a passion project and a product of the love we share with each other. We truly hope that music inspires you. And that we can be part of this journey with you!
Our Story
It all began when we tried to purchase a pair of Maracas. The options were limited, unvarying, lacking personality, and ultimately expensive. CP was recommended through word of mouth, but near to impossible to source in the UK.
We managed to obtain these directly from Colombia, and after testing agreed - the whole UK needed to try these products!
And so, our collaboration with Colombian Percussion began.
Now, we acknowledge our presence as ambassadorial of Latin American quality and honour this reputation. We are committed to fortifying British-LATAM trading relationships and believe this is the only way we can pursue a mutual and sustainable growth strategy. Therefore, we do not dump production prices nor pressure product pricing downwards. By engaging directly with vendors in Latin America, we ensure transparency, vendor bargaining power and remove any need for unnecessary middlemen.
